Chappaqua Crunch Granola is an independent, certified woman-owned business based just outside Boston in Lynn, MA.
Founder Debbie Waugh made her first batch of granola in the early 90’s while living in Chappaqua, New York and working on Wall Street. She tinkered with the original recipe until she developed an exceptionally tasty AND healthy granola. (Chappaqua Crunch Granolas contain less fat and sugar than almost any other granola on the market.)
She perfected the recipe on a group of seasoned taste-testers (friends and coworkers), who were requesting more and more granola. This led to the idea that her “hobby granola” could be the basis for a business. After some research and with a big leap of faith, the first official Chappaqua Crunch Granola flavor was launched.
Waugh returned to Massachusetts where the business continued to grow. Chappaqua Crunch currently includes a line of eight granolas, including granolas made with organic ingredients and gluten-free options. Thanks to the support of customers, family, retailers, and distributors, our granola is now available at grocery, natural food, and specialty stores around the country.
